Ok this is DURANGO related, but I'm looking for help!
My Boss has a '00 Durango SLT 4X4. It has been to the dealer 3 times now
because it has started shutting down when she is driving it. The first
time, she had just gotten it back from dealer for a 60,000 mile tune-up.
It went back to Dodge and they had it for a week without finding
anything wrong! First the dealer said it was a faulty transmission
filter, they replaced it. Than it was the Throttle position sensor, they
cleaned it. Than it was the mass air flow sensor, than it was bas
gas......blah, blah, blah
The dealer can't fix it, and my Boss wants to get something other than a
Dodge!!!
The Durango will be going at highways speeds or just cruising around
town and than, BOOM everything just shuts down! she says right before it
dies it stars to not have any power to the transmission. She'll see the
RPM's going up as she steps on the gas but the Durango has no power and
starts to get sluggish than dies. It will restart right after it dies
though??
Any help would be appreciated..............e-mail me privately if anyone
