What's really sad Jay, is when the Kia or Hyundai wants to race you. I get
these all the time down here. I especially like it when I do the corner at
30-40 and not braking. Hehhehehe Watching in the rear view mirror the car
jumping into the opposite lane trying to do the same.
You know...it must be the youth without the real pleasure of horsepower.
Maybe too much of the "Fast and Embarrassment".
Jay, next time someone wants to ride your bumper, do what I usually do.
Stop at the next light and just light up the tires with him behind you and
let him smell the rubber for the next block or so. Hahahahahaha

Subject: DML: 4.7 Vs. Sentra seR
I thought those thing were suppose to be fast. Or at least faster.
(For Irvine locals this was on Harvard starting at University, ending at
Alton)
Second in line at a light behind a new Sentra seR (Big red "R"). The road
ahead quickly goes from two wide to one. The Sentra squeals his wheels when
the light turned green. I hadn't planed this, but it didn't catch me by
surprise either. So I floor it, we escape the other car at the light real
quick. I use my blinker, shifted to the left lane, zoom ahead of his
screaming 4cyl, then use my blinker again when the lanes merge to one.
We're doing about 70 in a 50 zone (secluded road, no ones around, so chill).
I let off to get back into reasonable range, I typically drive 55 through
there. By the time I get down to 60 he's riding my ass, with probably an
entire mile before he can pass. A little pissed about this I drive at 45
and let him sniff my bumper the whole way. When we hit the 2 lanes again he
comes buzzing by about 15 over. A few miles later we're alone at the next
light, were both in the right lane (me behind). He shifted over to the left
so we'd be even and wanted to race again. I could believe that. I didn't
bite though because the civic center and police dept. was only a quarter
mile up the road. Never the less he squealed away and turned left at the
next light.
