Won't hurt emissions at all...and it's 100% legal to do that. Emissions
only goes as far as the cat unless there's holes in the exhaust
pipe). A simple "Y" adapter will work but keep the pipes no larger than
2.25" (the tips can be as big as you want though).

i have a 40series flowmaster on my truck (2.5 "in, 2.5"out).

od make it sound better/louder, is it possible to split the pipe out of
the muffer and have a look a like dual exhaust on the truck ?? will this
mess up the emmissions on teh truck or anything like that ?

let me know what you guys think.. i want to be louder, but still be
able to afford my full time college courses...
