Congrats to you and your Mrs. Punch!!!

The only two reasons to get the 5.9L over the 4.7L is 1) bragging rights ;)
and 2) for pulling more. The performance of the 4.7L will suit many needs.

There is a ton of room in the 4-door Dak compared to the other non-full
sized models. I'm 5-10, I first sat in the back and had 1.5" clearance to
the seat. Then I moved to the front and did not have to adjust the seat
forward/backward. Very nice inside. Basically it is the Durango without a
covered back end ;)

As for overall length, it is the same dimension as the Club Cab (longer cab,
shorter bed) at 215.1 inches.

Hope all goes well!! Is this your first?

Subject: DML: well now! (4 door survey)

hmm, the wife is prego, so I have nine months to find a 4 door vehicle!

I have some questions on the 4 door dakotas:

general feelings on your 4 door?

if gas mileage is no concern go with the 4.7 or the 5.9?

would a Durango use more gas then a 5.9 Dakota 4 door?

are the 4 door daks any bigger? it's gotta fit my current garage as a new
house is now an afterthought!!
