Jack,
First it needs to be cleaned real good. Should be washed real good and
then primed with what is know as "Vinyl Wash Primer". This is a two part
primer. This primer etches the aluminum surface and bonds good. Once this
primer has dried for a day or two then you can prime it with a automotive
primer and paint with any good Black paint of you choice.
