if it breaks in the case you can crack the case $$$$$
normally you hear a drive to rev. clank when its going.
not to be confused w/ clunk ;)
sorta like 2 heavy pipes hitting ea other.

actually it isnt bad IF you change it before it breaks
so always check it when putting fluid in.
good is what a timing chain should feel like.
its 3-4" wide so 1/2" or so total play is fine

it was around $200 for chain/sprockets and it can be slipped
on while Tcase is still on truck.

takes less than an hr or so.
pop off driveshaft, both covers, undo the bolts/nuts holding
sprockets on take lower spr. out, push chain to top and remove
top sprocket. fold chain and pull out hole. read backwards
for instalation LOL
