well, I think I sent this when the DML was down...we'll try it again..

WOW!!! that's scary! I completely agree! nothing on my truck better be
half-ass! I found out that the dealer did some stupid things to me when I
first got my dak and boy did I raise some hell. I just have a problem when
people don't take care of something...specially since I am paying for it.

hey I have one question for Ray Block (is he a member of the DML)? I think
I have seen your dak around town...didn't know you were part of dragtruk.net
and the DML? if I can picture your dak it's a genII silver with R/T
(painted or a decal) somewhere on it. You race at national trails all the
time, and I've seen it at Jegs on Sat, and Sun. night cruises? is that you?
Sorry I am not stalking you...just love it when I see a dak (or a MOPAR for
that matter). I talked to you at national trails a few times. WOW I
didn't know I had a fellow DMLer in town! Cool to hear that. I'm sure you
have seen my dak around the Columbus area...can't miss it! :) hope to see
you at the cruises @ jegs this summer...

That is totally UNSAT!!!What did ever happen to a
business having pride in their work?, especially a
well known one! It shouldn't matter if it is for Race,
Show or everyday driving!!, You should still put it
back together correctly with the nuts and bolts that
you took out!! And as for being a racer and not
caring?!Huh? I would sure want to know that my truck
was going to stay together when I was going down the
track in excess of a hundred miles an hour, wouldn't
you? Guarantee the pro's don't half-ass it, or they
wouldn't be alive to do it anymore. I still like the
old way that it doesn't matter if anyone else can see
it or not, 'I' need to know it was done right for my
piece of mind! jkp

Geoff,

I had a cam installed by Kammer & Kammer in my '92
Dak. On the drive
home
from Dayton to Columbus, one of the rockers loosened
up and the pushrod
fell
out. While repairing this I found they lost half the
screws to my
grille
and several original bolts were replaced with header
bolts. When I
complained, Bob Kammer said real racers wouldn't worry
about stuff like
that. Said I just had a show truck and obviously
wasn't a real racer
if I
worried about a few missing screws and bolts.

The cam has been fine and after replacing the Comp
Cams rockers (that's
another story :( ) with Crane's I've had no more
problems. Kammer
does the
Mopar sponsored NHRA Stock Eliminator trucks so,
technically, they
should
know what they're doing! He just doesn't relate well
to dual purpose
machines.
