If memory serves me right, wasn't there a letter from DC saying NOT to use
platinums in the 4.7 due to too much conductivity or something like that the
coil on plug design needs some resistance?? I had the +4's in my 4.7, they
ran great at first, but the truck gradually started idling a bit rougher, and
mpg suffered. Switched back to plain old Autolite coppers, everything was
fine with now about 15k miles on them!! Question though, has anyone ran
AC/Delco Rapidfires in the 4.7?? They worked good in my '66 Olds and my old
'97 Dak 3.9L...
