Thanks Bill and Alex!

I maintain my vehicles regularly, so I'm getting the best possible. I
average 18.5mpg each week, because I am 80% highway. It drops as low as
17mpg when I'm only 50% highway. Pulling our pop-up camper, I'm down to
15mpg.

It's the city driving and pulling the toys that are my strongest case for
the accessories. I already got the OK for the Z-tube, but then the gas
prices came back down from the ceiling ;) This will be a little harder as
the prices is more, but I still think I can sell it due to the time I keep
my trucks.

Bill, if I remember right, you said the SC was around $4k? Quick
calculation....that's only 1,600 gallons of gas to pay for it
($1.25/gallon). If I get 1.5mpg average gain, that will save me 3 gallons
per week. It will pay for itself in 10 years, if the price of gas stays at
$1.25/gal and maintaining my 750mi/week.

It sounds like the more city driving and pulling will help pay for it
faster. Thanks for the help!
Wish me luck!

Well, im going to throw in my five cents worth. I've got a 99 CC 5.2
manual trans 3.55 Lsd rear- ok, I am getting 15.3 mpg as an average with
a good mix of city and highway. I did notice an improvement after the
rear diff. fluid change and the syn. oil change, along with a couple
other minor maintenence items. Went up about a half mpg, not bad for
just doing whats supposed to be done. Hope this helps. Later.
