Hi Steve,

Haven't heard from you in a while. Glad to see it was a minor problem. I
have heard of that before though. Those things are temperamental. Some go
bad early, others never go bad, luck of the draw I guess.

Subject: DML: Problem with 2001 fan speed control FIXED.

Little irritating problem finally taken care of. For
the last few months, the first two positions on the fan
control for my heater/air conditioner had no
effect, but the two highest settings worked. Finally
took the Dak in today to have it looked at,and it was
some kind of resistor pack that was bad. It`s mounted
to the firewall next to the engine, and is "about the
size of a credit card". They said it`s common to go
bad,so I thought I`d share it. Save someone a
tremendous headache possibly. P.S. It`s nice to get
a problem fixed for a change. Steve P.
