Don't anyone badmouth Dodge for this problem. Most makes of cars have these
and many give problems from time to time. At the garage I work at we replace
these things on someones car at least twice a month and it is usually a GM
product. I had a 74 Cutlass Supreme that my wife loved dearly and it was a
good car but the resistor block shorted out on it and a fuse did not catch
the problem and the car burned to the ground right before our eyes.

I had a similar problem on my 92 and my 87 Dak. It would simply work its way
loose and lose connection on the top terminals, but eventually they had to
be replaced.
