I thought that the only Daks that got the 9.25 rear end were R/T's. When I
got my truck, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I got the 9.25 rear-end.
Even the. 2002 Dakota brochure that I got from the dealer only shows the
9.25 with the R/T. I was pretty sure the 97-99 trucks got the 8.25 with the
318. I figure that's what I would get with my 4.7. So, when did that
switchover happen? Does anyone have the 4.7 with an 8.25 rear-end? Did I
just get lucky?
