Unless you have one of those south of the border Daks with diesel engines in them, I'm pretty sure you don't have glow plug problems :)
What engine do you have? The crank position sensor is located on top of the passenger side engine/bellhousing underneath the EGR equipment. You can take that out (just slip a long flat head or a torx drive if its long enough between the egr tubes to unscrew it) and make sure the crankshaft position sensor is clean. I've gotten mine dirty before after hitting a big mud puddle, since the flywheel has a viewing plate that doesnt seal the bellhousing.
The camshaft position sensor? Someone correct me here, but isnt what the small guage wire that goes into the distributor under the cap connects to? Its just a little magnetic sensor right? Id on't see how that could be dirty...
