FYI
an intercooler cools down the heated air so its denser
than uncooled heated air direct from turbos, I doubt the
so-called superchargers (belt driven turbos) need it.
a true turbo driven hard can benefit from an intercooler.

a true roots type blower (supercharger) like a Detroit 4-71,
6-71 etc doesnt need one either unless it has a turbo feeding it.
i.e. 8V-92 TT and similar
