Trouble is, these guys and gals are supposed to know about automobiles.
That's supposedly why they got hired-they were supposedly knowledgeable of
the trade.
I'm not saying they have to know everything about everything, but when a guy
doesn't know Corvairs or VW Bugs (original) are air cooled, there is a
problem. Or when you tell the guy it's a race car and you want 8 Autolite
#51s and he takes you through the computer drill, then tells you GM didn't
make a 380 V8, come on-he already has the info IT'S A RACE CAR!!!
There is no excuse for incompetence. How many times have you been to
McDonald's and cussed the people there-they are only making sandwiches! They
can't even make change!

I don't want to pay to do someone's job for them. They should already be
reasonably knowledgeable before I step up to the counter.
