My '98 Dak 4X4 has/had the factory 750 amp HD battery. The first one died
just shy of 18 months in the truck. The second about 24 months after that. I
don't see any marked improvement in quality in the 750 vs. 600 amp battery.

My 99 R/T (which has the optional hd everything standard) is on it's 3rd
battery. My wife's 96 Cougar still on it's factory battery (double knock on
wood)
