Not sure if this will help or not, but it is supposed to be the wiring
diagram for the Dak overhead console. The wiring for the mirror looks to be
coming from that area, so maybe there is something useful here?

My sister's '96 Grand Cherokee has the autodim drivers side rear view
mirror. It turns a kinda gold color at night when it dims. It's stuck
that way now and wont return to the normal "silver" like all mirrors
are. Anyone have any experience with this or a wiring diagram?
