I have to say thanks to all of you who take an active participation in the
DML.
Because of your posts, I was able to diagnose and repair the old "ABS/Brake
light" problem on my 99 Dodoge Dakota. I was able to read some recent posts,
and search the archives.
In my case, the speedo did not work under 15mph along with ABS & Brake light
on.
I only have 20,000 mile on my baby, and my brakes are in good shape.
The dealer wanted $200 to repair the problem.
I bought the part (rear speed sensor part# 56028187) for $35 with tax and
did it myself. I am 1 month past warranty and expect I will be taking a much
more active role in repairing my truck and posting to the DML.
