They are reporting 2004 as the last year for Dakota.

well this is just wonderful....

Project save Chrysler fizzled... it was too lofty a goal to even dream
to reach. Mr. Job Stiger is right. Chrysler died the second that the
cretins signed the deal to join up with Daimler.

But I'll be damned if I'm going to let the Dakota name plate slip into
the depths, without even TRYING to save it. Come on... we need to save
our trucks!!!! The problem is I don't know what to do.......
