GM's reason on the F-body (firebird-camaro) cancellation was due to slow
sales and supposed
development of a new F-body in 2-3 years.
I can't believe Dakota sales are poor enough to be
a reason to cancel the DAKOTA.and force Dodge
to design another truck line.
Why not keep the existing platform for the Dakota
and concentrate on giving it a reskin to freshen the
Dakota's body lines and boost appeal to the markets
they want to target?????
