My concern would be for how much the tires are rated for. I think the truck
is built heavy duty enough to take way past its rating. If you just have a
passenger type tire (Pxxx-15) - I would stick to the 1250 # or whatever it
is rated for. You wouldn't want a blowout with a full load and traveling
hiway speed.

FWIW, on a short trip back from Lowes and only going about 35 MPH I had well
over 2000 # on my truck once. It was dragging it's butt, though...
