...and if it jumped a notch or two that could explain the pinging...cam to
crank time might be off a few degrees, though that would be real surprising
on a 99...unless you drove 40K miles a year.

you know... I've noticed that it seems that stock the dodge engines dont
make too much power, and the computers seem to be REAL touchy... but when my
truck sounded like a turbo diesel it was that there was way too much slack
in the timing chain....
