Mike,

I like your idea, but the herculiner part scares me! I have seen with
my own eyes horror stories of people that have used that stuff. I figure I
already have an insane ammount of under body sound barrier under my cab, so
i'm not worried about sound.

As far as me doing it. I already have an appointment set up. I'm taking
out the seats, having him spray the rhino on, and then I'm leaving out the
center part and building a custom console going from the back of the cab to
the dash. I designed it to hold my CD changer, amp, AC inverter, and my
notebook computer. Oh... It will have 4 cupholders that can hold those 64
ounce big gulps! If anyone has AutoCAD, I'll send ya the plans.

carpet in my truck. I want to Herculiner the floor and back wall of my
extended cab, and then cover that with stock replacement rubber mats that an
optionless dakota would come with. I've ridden in an F150 that had the cab
Line-X sprayed under the stock rubber mats, and it is QUIETER than the
carpet, as well as easier to clean, longer lasting than any carpet, and more
suited to my personal tastes.
