Ok, DML.
Thanx to all for the feedback. According to what I've gathered, it's
probably in the steering column. The balljoints were inspected when I had
the DAKSY aligned in March & they're ok. I hear "intermediate shaft" thrown
around, but the FSM doesn't show me any such critter. There's a lower
shaft - there's an upper shaft - & there's a coupler - but no intermediate.
I've got the 4 yr/75K warranty...I checked the removal section in the
FSM...looks a little too much for this old guy...maybe I gotta call the
dealer...
