Kevin,
I painted my about 1½ years ago. It is holding up better than the factory
paint on my hood. No chips, scratches, or cracks! The performance is in
the prep work the shop takes prior to painting it. If they know what they
are doing, and do a good job, it will last just fine.

Subject: DML: spoiler painting

I have removed the front gray spoiler and rear bumper inserts off my 2K and
they are in the body shop for paint, Paint color is white, will look pretty
good. The grey was getting old,and boring. time to freshen up the Dak again.
I hope this paint lasts, the shop seems to know what they are doing and
talking about. Anyone have good luck in painting the grey plastic valance??
