more crankshaft pos. sens?

What I'm trying to ask is other than in the bell housing, where else have dakotas had thier Crankshaft position sensors located?

I recieved my new transmission today and it was missing the window/slot to put the CPS in. So I'm trying to figure out what type of transmission I got. Possibly from a 91? where maybe the CPS was different??

I hate my luck
