There are baffles for the various holes, oil fill, PCV valve, etc. Those
baffles should be installed so oil doesn't splatter up into the PCV etc.
The difference between the stock and MP is the MP ones are for individual
holes rather than being all the way across the valve cover. The MP ones
have self tapping screws that hold them on.

covers for sale
Summit sells the same value covers for 169.99/pair. I just bought some used
for 75, and thought I was getting a good deal. The MP covers don't have
baffles unlike the stockers, but that is good because it will allow you to
use higher ratio (1.7) rockers or a bigger cam in the future without
worrying about clearance problems.
If the pcv grommet is worn out on these covers (i think thats what he's
talking about), you can pick them up a new grommet from summit for $4.95
under part # DCC-5249642.
I would recommend picking up a set of new mopar performance gaskets (Summit
#DCC-5249660) they are 15.95 and are really nice quality. You can re-use
them over and over again as they are a rubber-coated metal gasket.

How much do they normally run? And what's the deal with the baffles? Do I
need baffles under the pcv valve? I hate sounding dumb, but I'm new to this
stuff :) Thanks.
