2003 4.7 will be rated at 270HP. There will be no 5.9 in the RAM, with the
exception of the Diesel version.

Non-dakota question, but was just curious.. got a friend that says he just
bought a 2002 RAM 1500 Sport 4x4 with the 5.9L engine, but he's claiming
that on the info sheet that it says 320 HP, and he had it dynoed just the
other day putting it at 320hp, but the 360 is only 245HP stock??? He says
it's all stock, and with the sport (in stock form), that they did special
engine mods done, and then he's talking about getting 450-500hp with just
doing a cold-air intake, Jet chip (tuned specifically for his mods), true
duels, and TB spacers (I've tried telling him those don't work, but, well..
you know).. Is there any combiniation in stock form that will put out
320hp from the 5.9L?? I know it wouldn't take many mods to get it that
high, probably that list of mods right there would put it close, but not
stock?!?!?
