RE: VOID TRANS WARRANTY?

Yes.

Contact SEMA who will refer you to the FTC is the dealer is making a big
stink out of it.

We had a problem with a local '99 R/T and the driveline vibration TSB
(known problem). They claimed that the supercharger on the truck caused
the problem...not true...it was there before the S/C as well. We had to
contact SEMA for the referral to the FTC and then the FTC rep contacted
the local dealer (after reviewing the case) and the warranty work was
taken care of (this was on the extended warranty as well). It may vary
on each specific case...but mild modifications don't do enough to damage
a transmission.

My understanding with aftermarket mods is that the dealer has to prove
that your mod caused the damage that you're trying to get fixed under
warranty, if not then they have to fix it under warranty. Has anyone
out there actually run into a situation like this?
