That is what I did when I needed a 30A circuit. I purchased the blade
connectors, pulled the PDC box apart, and filled in one of the blank
openings. Wired in the buss and remaining circuit, and plugged in the
appropriate fuse from above. Disconnect your battery, pull the PDC box
apart and up away from the fender as far as you can to access the bottom.
It wasn't the easiest thing to do, but it is doable.

I was thinking about using the trailer circuit as its available on my truck.
Also, how do you get to the back (wiring) side of the PDC? Do you just undo
the 2 plastic clips, and the bolt, flip it and pull the bottom cover?
