High Flow cats come in various sizes...not just 3" IN/OUT. ;)
2.25" Dual IN/3" OUT, 2.5" IN/OUT, 3" IN/OUT, 3.5" IN/OUT...etc.

If you hear rattling within the CAT then it is bad or check for cracks
with the CAT's top shield plate.
The HI-FLOW CATS are usually a 3" in and 3" out. These are good for
hi-temp headers that will not burn out but provide enough limit to pass
emission.
