Good to hear Rascal, I've been eyeballing the Redtop
Optima, but didn't know if it could take the drain.

The stock battery in my '98 Dakota has lasted for 5 years now
and is still going (50K miles). Needless to say I'm amazed since
it has powered a dual electric fan for over 2 years in 100+ heat.
I wonder who the manufacturer is? I know AC Delco makes one
heck of a fine battery. I don't know if Optima has staying power
to run this fan.
