Oil pressure...

Hey guys,
I need to know where is the best place to hook up my autometer oil pressure
gauge ? someone told me to tap at my factory gauge, but wouldn't that be
just as ineffective ?

I have the sender, but don't know where to put it.... do I tap the block,
oil pan what ?????
