YES. A guy I worked with when I was stationed in Denver had his Jeep
Wrangler in for some work at the dealer and they told him that his u-joints
needed replacing, but he figured he could wait it out a bit. Lost his
driveshaft on I-70, luckily he kept it under control and got to the side of
the road, needed new underwear tho. I'm not sure how long they're supposed
to last, I was getting ready to put new ones on my '93 before I traded her
in, pep boys quoted me $14.99 each, so it's not like it's gonna break ya to
replace 'em if you're worried.
