Well, I went ahead and bought new ones, 400 bux a pop. (OUCH) They thought
about the helicoil thing but, said that it would be hard to get the hole
straight. Looks as if the hole was drilled at an angle from the factory.
And while they are at it I told them to replace everything on the front end.
Ball joints, control arms, calipers, pads, and rotors. This doubled the
price of my lift in parts but, the labor stayed the same. Guess she'll be
good for another 100k on that end... Just hope the tranny and the engine
treat me good.. Thanks, Hop...
Hope to have some pics up by this weekend..
