Bailing from the List for Awhile

Looks like I'm going to have to bail from the list for awhile (not that I've
been a major contributor, but I have enjoyed the assorted threads over the
past year and a half). I'm leaving my present job next week, taking a week
off for a vacation, and starting a new job the first week of July. I don't
figure to have much time to monitor the list since my new job does not have
a DSL connection. I also figure my hours will prevent me from spending to
much time at home on the Internet.

Anyway, before I go, I have one last technical question that I'm sure the
DML can help me with. I have a decision to make regarding how to increase
the horsepower of my 4 cylinder Dak......

Which Jack ball do I get when I buy the Sourdough Jack Combo? The California
Angel or the Los Angeles Dodger? In pass threads we concluded that we get a
gain from the Holiday Jack Ball, however, the Holiday Jack has gone to that
great antenna in the sky, and truck has been a bit sluggish without it.

Also is the horsepower gain from these balls tied into how the teams are
doing in the standings? I also assume that in other cities with Major League
teams and Jack-in-the-Boxes they have Jack Balls for their local teams.
Would one of those balls give me a better power boast? Or if the Brewers
have a Jack Ball (don't know if Milwaukee has any Jack-in-the-Box
restaurants) would it be like pouring sugar in your gas tank?

If only Jack had a L.A. Laker Jack ball. That would make the choice easy.
With a Laker ball. I'm sure my truck would win every race. The horsepower
gain would be infinite. You may beat me off the line but I'd blow by you
just before the finish line. Of course I'd have to put up with my truck
having that John Wayne swagger of confidence to it.
