The damage has to be reported to CARFAX for them to have it on file.
CARFAX says my Dak has never been a commercially licensed vehicle, but it
was in Massachussets in 92. They also say it has never been a leased
vehicle, but my employer leased it from Enterprise Leasing. Their sticker is
still on the tailgate.
So, as you can see, CARFAX wasn't very accurate in my case.
