Do or have the following:

* Magnetic Pickup Rod
* 10-inch Socket Extension
* Duck Tape
* Spark Plug Gap tool

Take some Duct Tape and wrap around the spark plug socket and the socket
extension. This will ensure that you will not drop the socket into the
valve cover area. The Magnetic rod is for the little screws, which I had
twice lost into the intake crevices. Ensure you check each spark plug for
proper gap. Never...never trust the factory's setting.

Subject: DML: Changing Plugs on 4.7

While we're on the subject....

Anything special I should know about changing the plugs on the 4.7? I took a
quick look under the hood and it looks like I have to undo the small nut
that hols the coil on the plug, then pull that off.

Once they're off it's a straight swap?

I haven't picked up plugs yet. I need to look back through the archives on
recommendations.
