On my '92 w/ 5.2L, I can change all eight plugs in ten minutes without an
air wrench!
As for the original plugs being hard to remove, I understand that that has
to do with the new engine block expanding and contracting before it finally
cures, thus often resulting in plugs that are extra-tight (despite being
installed at the recommend torque by the factory).
