Take a look at my website I have some (sorta) closeup shots of my front
grill. I bought the kits from www.grill-tech.com they even have a dak on
their homepage.
I am very happy with the look and quality of the metal. It cost me roughly
$80 for the upper and lower. I changed the mounting idea from the
instructions.... They tell you to ziptie the mesh to the black plastic veins
in your grill. Well I had previously used the gutter mesh type and had
removed the veins for that. I ended up drilling 1/8" holes in the grill and
ziptiyng the new mesh to that. I did the same for the bumper, only with that
you cannot even see the zipties at all ! You can buy the kit, or use the
gutter mesh, if you use the gutter mesh it will oxidize being that it is
aluminum, even the $20 kits on ebay will, they will all eventually oxidize
after a few months, I had even clear coated mine but the washing and repeted
bug guts took all that off. I reccomend the grill tech kits. they are chrome
plated (or black) and are a very good quality mesh. IMO if you follow the
directions it will look ghetto, if you would like I can take closeups of the
way I mounted em as well as my hood release ($3 in parts).
