$150 for a shift kit installation is a screamer deal considering that
there are quite a few hours involved in the installation. Don't forget
to include the price of fluid, filter, and gasket for this...could bring
the price up to about $200.

The average time (without air tools) can take about 6-8 hours for the
average home installation. Shop time is about 4-5 hours depending on
skill level and how much is actually done on the valve body (cleanup,
proper grinding, etc.).
