I have done some on my dak with this cheap errr I mean poor mans stuff. Yea
its cheaper, dose not hold up as well and have heard about it causing the
pipes under it to rot out. I put it on to help with the heat under the hood
and in the cab. Not sure if it worked much, but it did stop the noise from
the A/C drip on the pipes.

while we're on the subject ... has anyone had experience with header wrap -- the poor man's alternative to ceramic coating???? Is it comparable?
