BBQ: Oh the humanity!

This year's BBQ was by no means short on the carnage:

2 Cherokee alternators completely fried

Jason Yates' Dak started boiling coolant after the electric fan
couldn't keep up with a mud-clogged radiator and the slow pace in the
trees.

1 TJ rear axle (twisted & snapped completely).

Dakota's t-case and transmission are both suspect.

I had misfires in cylinders 3 & 4, plus a "Shift Solenoid A" code.
Cleared the codes, then got a P0743 later tonight - TQ converter
problem. Hoping it's just the sensor. I think I've lost 1st gear and
OD.

The Adam Blaster has a ticking coming from the area around upper rear
of the intake manifold, and the truck has quit on him several times.

Tom (Granpa) showed up with an oil pressure problem, but after fixing
the sensor he's OK.

We're all crossing fingers for safe drives home. I'm taking the scenic route.
