Back Home From BBQ!

WOW!!!! WHAT A RUSH!!!

It took me 14 hours to get to the BBQ on Thursday, and it took me 12
hours to get back home tonight. Traffic in and out was not too bad -
but tak into account rear enders, and construction down to one lane -
and it was back up city. Plus the toll booths along I-90 west were
backup nightmares.

But it was worth every minute! Long insane drives in search of short
drives through mud!

Update on the oil pressure. On the way out to the DML - Adam and I were
back and forth over the radios about the oil pressure, after having
pulled over once when the oil pressure zeroed. I later found out that
the connector to the oil pressure sending unit, was damaged and was not
connecting properly. I thought I fixed it but all the way home it kept
doing it. Plus the low oil warning light was coming on this time. I
think its the sending unit, because if the oil pressure had really
dropped to zero as much as it did, the truck never would have made it
home. The engine never ran rough at all, so I think I am ok.

My front end alignment still is not right - but my Firestone Wilderness
AT Tires didn't blow up!

It was a totally awesome experiance with a bunch of really great people.
I can't wait 'till Daktoberfest!! I'm already planning the mods to
"Granpa", that I want to make.

Tom
