For some of the current model trucks, the cap manufacturers sell a
plastic/fiberglass piece that is used to seal up the gap between the cap and
rear of the cab to give a seamless appearance.

  Thanks for the reply, ARE is another one I hadn't heard of, at least not
in caps. The front hinged window does seem like a very useful feature,
usually they have to stay dirty unless you want to remove the cap!
