Subject: DML: STUCK THROTTLE!!

Today I had the throttle get stuck open on the freeway, when a piece of
plastic from
the intake tube, from the FIPK, broke loose and lodged itself in the TB.
Managed to
pull it over and kill the ignition before it got too crazy. When I pulled
the tube off, I found
a piece had broken away from the aluminum ring. I also noticed a few cracks
radiating
from the aluminum flange ring. Has anyone else had their intake tube
deteriorate like this?
I hope K&N improved the design, so this won't happen again.
Do you think they'll give me another one free for my trouble?
Always wondered what a stuck throttle situation was like!

Guy
