Gary, that is great news all around. Sounds like they thought it over.

Subject: DML: Dak Update
Well, I got the dak back today, and all is well. The problem is fixed,
and
fixed right. I'm happy.
When I picked it up, I was greeted by the owner of the dealership. We
had a
good 30 minute chat, and he appologised for the situation with the
loaner
car. He said there was no reason why they could not have taken the 5
minutes to put the spinner ball on. He also stated that to his
understanding, the spinner ball would not have damaged the steering
wheel.
Even if it were true, he would rather have an imperfect steering wheel
on a
loaner than a upset customer.
I can only hope he was sincere. The $100 gift certificate he gave me
afterwards was deffinitly a good sign of this. :)
