Hey, Lance!

<snip> Is there good howto on changing the Front and Reard Diff and Transfer
Case
 fluids? <snip>

As long as you have a place to work that you can clean up later, there's not
a lot to it.
You'll need:
Ramps or jackstands
Socket or box wrench
Thin screwdriver or blade
Drip Pan
Scraper
Brake cleaner in a spray can
Hi temp RTV Silicone(black)
4 qts of 75W-90 API GL-5 gear lube with the Hypoid additive
Pull er up on some ramps or support er with jackstands and crawl underneath
the end that's raised. Look for the 'pumpkin'
(differential housing) where your axles meet. Place a good sized pan under
the pumpkin. You'll find 12 bolts (I think?) holding the cover on. Loosen
(but don't remove) all the bolts. Take a thin flat-head screwdriver & tap it
gently in between the cover & the housing, until you can gently pry the
cover away. The fluid will drain fairly quickly, so be ready to reposition
your drip pan!
When it's completely drained, remove the bolts & the cover. Take the scraper
& remove all of the old RTV from the cover & the housing. Remove the
collection magnet & clean off the steel shavings. Spray all the gears & the
entire inside of the housing with the brake cleaner. When the cleaner starts
to run cleaqr, stop spraying & let everything air dry.
Goob the RTV onto the cover seating surface on the housint & position the
cover on the housing. Hand tighten the bolts and let er sit for about a half
hour so the RTV can cure. Then tighten the bolts snugly. Pry out the rubber
fill plug & fill till the lube just trickles out of the filler hole. Replace
the plug.
Repeat these steps for the other Pumpkin.
