Well after two dealership service departments, some bad advise, and almost
a thousand dollars, my excessive cranking when hot issue is finally fixed.
The first dealer said they could not duplicate the problem, the truck showed
no codes, and fuel pressure checked out ok. So dealer #2 took a wak at it
and concluded the same thing. So I asked them to replace the entire fuel pump
assembly out of frustration. Same problem. So i decided to send my stock
injectors to Marren for cleaning and balancing. Presto! Problem fixed. Now
why could'nt these dealer techs. solve this problem for me? It wasn't about
the money, I just wanted it fixed. (I feel better now) I guess the 24lb
injectors were too much for my 5.2 . I hope this will help someone out
there.
Items for sale: F&B stage 2 50mm $125.00
                        Accel 24# injectors 6months old 8ea. $100.00
                        Holley 255lph fuel used 6 weeks $100.00
If any of these items interest anyone, Please e-mail me off list

Thanks
