I was checking the archive and haven't found anything
yet on bad cats on a 99 Dakota. Are these an
inherent Dodge problem? I'm wondering if it's even
worth going to the dealer for a replacement. My v6
recently started sounding like a small deisel engine
so I take it that noise is that cat going bad. Are
there any long term damage that can be done if this
isn't replaced immediately or is it just annoying
thing to have happen is all?
